The problem
The organization ran a separate scheduling app for each principal — great for personal branding, chaos for access. Giving fifteen people visibility into one person's availability meant scattering magic links across every domain.
Fleet-wide changes had to ship to every app without a broken build ever swapping production.
What we built
- A control-plane platform that unifies identity, accounts, and access across the whole fleet — one real login, per-app permissions.
- The platform was founded on a fork of the most polished app in the fleet, so composer, recurrence, feeds, notifications, and travel-timezone handling were inherited, not re-built.
- Every app deploys through CI on push to main — typecheck and tests gate the deploy, and fleet rollouts go one app at a time, on purpose.
- White-label theming per principal, down to per-app icons — each install picks its own gemstone palette.
